First things first. It's been awhile since we had a blog post, but things around here have been crazy! We're all set to open on January 2nd, and we're credentialed with OHP.
So, if you're looking for clinic based ABA services, social skills groups, physical activity groups, or parent training - head over and fill out our intake packet. Space is VERY limited!
We've started creating our parent training curriculum, including how to create a Behavior Plan at home (I want to teach you what I know, so that you don't need me anymore), how to determine if your ABA program is appropriate, how to advocate at IEP meetings, and plenty more.
Another thing we've been working on is creating our "sensory friendly" room; including crash pads, swings, a fish tank, an igloo and plenty more. We're trying to make most of these things ourself so that parents can readily replicate them for their home. Why spend $800 when we can make one for $200?
Finally, we're working with a local SLP/OT company to provide comprehensive services to our clients. More details on this to come soon.
